Sis Carol

I was talking to our cousin Linda the other day. Her dog got sprayed by a skunk and it made me think of when Bill was 16 years old and he worked at "Mac's" pizza in Conimicut, R.I. and he trapped a skunk out back from the dumpster using some sort of food bait. He proceeded to get it  de-skunked  so that it could not spray anymore and bought it the prettiest rhinestone collar. He named the skunk "Sweet William"

and would pay us a quarter each time we would put it on a leash and take it for a walk. He loved  any kind of animals. Linda couldn't beleive it and we shared a few laughs over that story. He even had at one time a racoon named "Lucifer" who we were all pretty scared of as he could turn a little on the mean side, but he loved Bill.

Your probably with all those animals up there to Bill. Miss you and your sense of humor big time!!! Love you

baby sis and Gale

We went to New Hampshire for a visit with mom's side of the family, we met the newest member baby Heather, she is perfectly beautiful.  We also went to see Auntie Connie and Uncle Scotty, (they are as sweet as ever), while there Auntie Connie was sharing some of the capers of Gale and Bill, both as small children when Gale took Bill for a walk and they could not find the way home, mom and auntie called the police and before long the children were found, Bill sat there with his cop hat on and Gale could not explain where her jacket had gone?  She say's she remembers getting hot on their adventure and taking it off.

Another story was in teenage years when cousin Colleen, Gale and Bill had a party as auntie and uncle were going away, uncle took sick and they came home early, the party was over.......

Gale Anne
This memory is from Gale Anne herself, one time when she and bill were small children living in RI, she was pulling him around in the radio flyer when they came across a bundle of newspapers at the corner market, she proceeded to put them in the wagon with Bill and then delivered them to neighbors, "free of charge of course".
Gale Anne
I thought of a memory for Gale that mom had once told me about Gale and Billy, they were maybe 2 and 3 and Bill had mumbled a little baby joggin to mom, mom asked Gale, what did he say??:  Gale replied, him said he wants a cookie and me do too.........baby sis
